All in all, it's gorgeous place that has all very pleasant staff from the manager to the cleaning staff and the waiters. The location is good and fab if you are going for one night. We have stayed there before and would stay here again...

We originally only booked a room for one night but changed it to two nights prior to our visit, booking directly with the hotel and getting the same deal as if booked through external website. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, the breakfast staff were all over worked and the management should spend some money on more staff as our breakfast was just cooked and the waiting staff did not have the time to give the kind of service needed, although they all tried their best. We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to The Mayflower Theatre. I will stay here again and I'm glad I paid a little extra for a room with a balcony.

Convenient location near city center and park. Spotless rooms, although not serviced. Good facilities including lounge, gym, and free wifi. Affordable price with an additional cleaning fee. Close to rail station. Modern and welcoming atmosphere with helpful staff.

The location is convenient, close to many restaurants within walking distance. It's just off food outlets and walking distance from the station and shopping center. The room is comfortable, quiet, well-maintained, and includes air conditioning, coffee, and a TV.

It was fairly cheap and convenient for the railway station. I was with some mates and it was what we needed. I.E. a place to sleep after a couple of nights out in Southampton and the Isle of Wight. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has lots of facilities.
It was very dated (though clean). It's not a place I would go with my wife or kids as the decor, rooms etc were very tired and I would want a hotel stay to be a treat with more up to date luxury and decor. Something better than your own home, not something from the 70's !. The breakfasts werent great. The cooked food was greasy and over cooked. Suitable for a hangover but not for a romantic weekend. I would go back with my mates but not with my family.

It was near to Cruise Terminal , shops and restaurants, and we were going on a cruise the next day. Breakfast was very good and in with the price, but for one night it is recommendable, being clean and comfortable.
It was adequate but is looking a bit tired and in need of redecorating..
